Who runs this site

True Home Cost is run by [YOUR FULL NAME], an individual. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL].

What we collect

You don't need an account. When you look up a postcode, it is sent to postcodes.io to find your council, and to the government Energy Performance Certificate service (through our server) to list certified homes. We don't store the postcodes or addresses you look up, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other personal details.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across sites.

The rent or mortgage figure you type stays in your browser and is never sent to us.

Cookies

This site does not currently set cookies. If we add advertising, we will ask for your consent first through a consent message, and you can say no.

Third parties

• postcodes.io — postcode lookup
• Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government EPC data service, via our server — energy certificates
• Cloudflare — hosting and cookieless analytics
• Google Fonts — typefaces

Your rights

Because we don't keep personal data about you, there is usually nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you have a question or complaint, contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
